   All Women’s Rally 4 A Reason (formerly the Ol’ Ladies Rendezvous) charity fundraiser snowmobile race, 11 am start, Trouthunter Lodge in Last Chance. Two age groups, three-women teams: Juniors and Ladies. Two sled classes: limited (sleds that total 1800cc and under), unlimited (sleds that total 1801cc and up). • Iron Dog Fundraiser, 6 – 8 pm, Pond’s Lodge. Help Island Park’s Randy Gravatt ride the 2012 Iron Dog snowmobile trek across Alaska. Fresh-made pizza specials, 50-50 raffle, silent auction, and Iron Dog film. Iron Dog starts on Feb. 19. Randy leaves for Alaska on Feb. 9. Please show him your support!

Friday, February 17
   1st Soup Challenge, 5 pm at the Ashton Community Center, a new American Dog Derby event in place of the snow sculpture. Entry fee is $5 and each cook must have a business sponsor (the business is display by the soup, no money is required from the business). Register at the City Building. If you would like to come and taste the soups, the charge will be $2/ person at the door. Prizes: 1st -$75; 2nd- $50; 3rd-$25.    Fugowee Snowmobile Club Fun Run. The event has two components: visiting as many as 25 locations in Island Park to get your Fun Run card checked; and playing Bingo for awesome prizes. From 10 am to 2 pm, snowmobile or drive to one of the sign-up locations to pick up your card: Island Park Lodge, The Pines, or Boondocks. Ride to area businesses to get your card stamped and meet at 4 p. m. for BINGO at the Mack's Inn Playhouse. Purchase tickets to win awesome raffle prizes. • 4th annual Harriman State Park Feathers ‘n’ Fins Skiathon. Pre-registration will start at 10 a.m. and event starts at 11 a.m. The event is designed for ALL people interested in getting out in winter on ski trails. For folks who like to participate in summer fun runs and miss that exercise in the winter, this event is for you. 7km, 10km, and 20km distances with skate and classic divisions, timed, mass start event. ils.
